I ordered two of these as the description sounded exactly like what I had been looking for. I am not exactly sure about the "BPA- Free", but I threw away my insulated tumbler that had a plastic liner that I was using everyday for hot coffee on my way to work. I came down with throat cancer about one year ago even after never in my life using tobacco products. My wife did a lot of searching on the internet and was convienced that the plastic / hot coffee was the cause of the cancer. I can't say, but I have been looking for an insulated tumbler that had the stainless steel liner. This one fit the bill exactly and the rubberized outer shell makes it almost impossible to let it slip out of your hand accidently. It keeps coffee and hot chocolate hot for thirty minutes or so. As soon as my sister saw mine, she ordered two for herself.
The only negative thing that I have found is that you can't casually scoot it across the table. The rubberized coating will grab and it won't slide; you will just turn it over.

Keeps hot drinks hot for a long time in air conditioned office and cold drinks cold in warm weather.
Metallic taste removed by a good soak. Not meant to be jostled to vigorously, if this happens expect some drips.

I bought 2 of these cups for my husband and I. He is the critic of all critics! He loves this cup but hates the lid. It leaks and collects slime under the slider lid which can be taken off but you cannot put it back on. Therefore leaving you with an open lid, but at least it will be clean. Or you can keep it on and not be able to clean it properly and be sick! The cup is simply fantastic just wish they would fix the lid!

Out of the box, this thing doesn't even stand straight...wobbles...not very good if you have hot liquid in it. I bought a better item somewhere else...poorly made mug.

Inside of tumbler is completely stainless for your favorite drink to be safelty contained in.Top does close so your drink does not spill.Outside rubber is perfect so cup does not slip out of your hand. Good price!
