Always loved Nalgene but when I found out that Nalgene tests on animals, I looked for an alternative. This is it! One liter size, does not leak, transparent to see liquid, nice frosted blue color which I find preferable to drink water out of, includes a removable sipper/ flow controller-- it sits inside the mouth opening and covers most of it, but not all of it (like a disposable coffee cup lid). This prevents spilling the drink all over yourself which I think is easy to do with a wide-mouth cup. I actually like this better than Nalgene now for the frosted blue finish, the curved design, and the mouth opening, and knowing that I'm not supporting a company that tests on animals.

Cap is tight enough so as not to leak. The little plastic ring is convenient to carry. I wish, however, that it could hold hot liquid also.

This water bottle is perfection! It's the perfect size and is made out of a sturdy material. I appreciate the fact that it's BPA-Free, I can put it in the fridge, and I can use the loop on the cap to carry it around. It also has a nice shape and grippy material on the outside so I can carry it easier. After a couple days it fell from a shelf that is about 5 feet high and it was perfectly fine! Another thing to mention is the cap goes on very easily without any leaks. The only negative I can think of is that it's too big to fit in any cup holders, but that's not a big deal.

we are your typical sports family. Someone has a practice or a game almost every day. we have several of these bottle in the fridge all the time. With the large mouth you can put anything you want in these things. They fit in the coolers easily. They also spend a fair amount of time in sports bags. the lids screw down very tight.
They can also take tremendous amount of abuse as Maggie our dog proved. We found one in the bushes she apparently got a hold of and had been chewing on it. It was a little out of round but she didn't get here teeth through it.
The price is also very attractive especially if you do not have a concern for color. I have found them on the clearance shelf for $4.00. On camping trips we fill them with water and freeze them before we leave. They then go in the boxes with the stuff that can't get wet but needs to be kept cool.
