wider mouth means easier to clean interior Dec 23, 2010
By Cleo This nondisposable version of disposable water bottles is just what I was looking for. Nathan produces two slightly cheaper models with a problem drinking nipple. I love it. There's no leaking which means that there is a suction issue which requires an adjustment in drinking method. I chucked my camelback when I realized that flip straws are a filthy bad idea. Rubbermaid sells green and blue ones with the similar drinking cap for about $4-5 but I prefer the feel of the plastic of the Nathan version.

Great idea...works well for runs in below-freezing temps Dec 28, 2009
By Runner Mom I purchased two of the Nathan Winter bottles to use in a December 66-mile trail race in freezing temperatures. While the contents of the bottles sometimes got a little slushy (partially frozen), the top didn't freeze and I was able to continue drinking with no problems throughout the race. Other runners' regular water bottles were freezing. The top was a little tricky to open, but after a little practice, I could usually pop it open even while wearing heavy mittens.
Cap Breaks Easily Oct 12, 2011

Opening is a bit small, but it works. I dropped the bottle once and the cap's hinge broke, making the bottle worthless.
H20 bottle Aug 14, 2011
By Jax22 Haven't tried it in the winter yet, but so far so good. It was on clearance and seems to be good quality.
