An honest review. It's fantastic. Simple enough. Mar 06, 2010 Love it. It wont break, trust me. I have seen one get thrown out a bus on the highway while going 65 mph. It barely had scratches on it, and was intact upon retrieval. Also have seen a cinder block dropped on it, and it was fine. If you can't manage to drink carefully, buy the $2 splash guard and save yourself from looking stupid from spilling and then probably looking even more stupid by complaining about it later on an Amazon review.
Nalgene is the best of it's kind and I love it. I'll never get a different brand.
best waterbottle! Feb 28, 2010 I went on a huge aluminum bottle phase, but going back to the nalgene has been the best for me! They are made a lot better these days with really fun colors. The wide mouth is easier to clean and fill and I love how effortless it is. But it gets a little heavy (because of the liquid) so I dont carry it around with me to many places
tried and true Feb 20, 2010 Nalgene bottles are a tried and true staple of hiking and backpacking. I've been using them for years and I recently updated to the bpa free bottles. It seems just the as good as any other nalgene bottle I've owned and I love the green color. In general the different colors can help you distinguish your bottle from your friends bottles or from bottles reserved for different purposes.
Water Bottle Feb 09, 2010 I have several Nalgene bottles, and I've got to say that this one is my favorite. I've had several of these 16 oz. bottles, and they are very convenient for everyday use. I also like the large mouth on this small bottle.
A Nescessity Jan 27, 2010 I had a Nalgene when they first came out, but ended up trashing it after the BPA problem was made known. I purchased a Sig bottle after that which is not nearly as nice, it gets dented easily, and the cap is not as user friendly, plus the metal gets really sweaty and cold really easy. If you drop a Sig bottle, the bottom will mushroom out.
So when I saw they were making these BPA free I instantly bought another one. I keep it with me at work and usually for car rides as well, I also use it at the gym, hiking, etc. I wouldn't do without one. Great product.
