Best bottle design. May 27, 2009
By Lisa Longoria I have owned many water bottles over the years. This is my favorite. It fits in standard cup holders in cars, strollers and water bottle carriers on bikes. It is quick and easy to open. The cap isn't in your way when you take a drink (turn it to the side). I like the amount of "flow" of the beverage you get with the size of the opening. If you want a swig to swallow a vitamin etc., it is harder to get enough fluid to do that with a straw-type, for example. The cap protects the area you put your mouth on so it isn't going to get dirt, sand, gunk or grit on it. I have not had any problems with leakage or the latch wearing out and the bottle is probably a couple of years old.

Best. Bottle. Ever. Dec 22, 2008
By L. J. Williamson Flip top lid is genius, and doesn't leak ever. I love that this fits nicely into a bike cage or auto cupholder but I don't have to squeeze it or suck at it like a hamster to get a drink. One-hand operation is smooth and simple. I can't recommend it highly enough.

An ok bottle, but I would recommend the more traditional Nalgenes. Feb 13, 2009

I bought this bottle specifically for cycling...it's the right size for a bottle holder on a bike, so that's a benefit over the traditional Nalgenes.
The problem I have with this bottle is that when it's turned upside down, it leaks out the top. The rubber seal on the cap isn't sufficient to keep all the liquid inside, so you can forget about throwing it in your backpack unless you want everything else in there soaked.
Not your best work, Nalgene!

IT'S MAGIC Jan 20, 2011
By Jessica Pearson Okay, so I bought this bottle just kind of thinking that it would be a handy thing to have. I've been reusing the same three Dasani bottles and refilling them with water from my Brita pitcher (the tap water in my building is less than ideal), and just kind of sipping at water all casually. I thought this would be a nice sturdy bottle for carrying around, and carrying a bit more than those little bottles, and hey it's pretty, too!
BUT THEN. I poured some water into this bottle and it was TRANSFORMED. Instead of regular filtered water, it became a delicious elixir, one that I couldn't stop drinking! I found myself with an empty bottle in my hand, stunned at my sudden appetite for mere water. I don't know if it's the clicky lid, the loopy top, the measurements down the side, or the pretty blue color, but this bottle does something magical to water. Nalgene, you claim you are a plastics company, but I think you must secretly be staffed with wizards. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone.
2012-03-04 edit: My lid broke today :( The lid still works, but one of the two parts of the hinge fell off in my hand. It's true that I use the bottle every day, but I'm not rough on it. I don't throw it around or beat it up or toss it in a bag. I'm bummed.

Pleased with H2O bottle Sep 22, 2008
By Dr. Lana L. Thomas These water bottles offer just what I was looking for at a very economical price and free shipping. They are very durable. I use them everyday and they have withstood many dishwashings. They do not crack and they do not leak. Their perfect size fit my cup holder in the car.
