For those having trouble... Apr 10, 2010
By Melissa B For those of you having trouble with the cup's valve, before using the cup for the first time, remove the valve and squeeze each side of it (it's cut in a cross shape). This breaks the seal and allows the liquid to flow perfectly!
I absolutely love these cups, and since our first purchase of them, I can't bring myself to buy any others. They DO NOT leak, at all!

Great little water bottle for little ones! Nov 29, 2008
By J. Moore

I love this little water bottle, except one thing . . . its actually too hard for my toddler to drink out of. It has never leaked, hasn't broken in the several hundred throws, and its BPA free. But my 19 month old can't drink from it. I will keep it for him until he is older.

Nalgene BPA-Free Tritan Sippy Cups - THE BEST! Apr 02, 2009
By The Thompsons I have to say, the NALGENE Tritan Grip-N-Gulp BPA-Free Water Bottle is THE BEST sippy cup we have ever used! As a previous reviewer stated, these sippys DO NOT leak, except for a few drops that are already in the spout, when shaken. Also, these cups hold-up WONDERFULLY in the dishwasher, even over many years, being used on a constant daily basis. My 7-year old daughter used the "old" Nalgene sippys for many years, and now that they have come out with the BPA-Free versions, I have purchased a dozen "new" plastic sippys, and will be getting rid of all my old plastic sippys and bottles, especially now that my baby daughter wants to use the same kind of cup as Big Sister. :) These are so much more reasonably priced than the stainless steel sippys... which I found were $14+ each, and I love that the Nalgenes only have one valve to clean! If the new sippys are as spill-free and easy to clean as the old ones, I'll really love them, too! My daughters are excited for the new colors, as well... green and purple in addition to the original pink and blue colors.

Sturdy - Just Right For Preschoolers Mar 31, 2010
By April M. Emery PROS
1 - BPA free
2 - the spill-proof valve keeps leaks from happening if the bottle gets tipped over
3 - virtually indestructable (my children have dropped theirs from all different heights and we haven't noticed a crack or scratch)
4 - size is just right for preschoolers
5 - wide neck (a bottle brush can be inserted to clean)
6 - you can purchase different caps for the bottle when your child outgrows the sippy spout
CONS
1 - although it is spill-proof it is not leak-proof. if the bottle is tipped upside down a few drops can come out
2 - not a lot of variety of colors
3 - still a #7 plastic despite being BPA free

Difficult to drink from Oct 19, 2009
By H. See I bought this item for my toddler because it is touted as the best drip-free bottle in a top ten list I read. It definitely is drip free but what makes it drip free also makes it hard to drink/sip from. Not the bottle to use to quench serious/immediate thirst.
