Great for kids - right size. BPA free and tough May 31, 2009
By Manish Laxmikant This bottle is perfect for kids. The size is great, the slate blue color seems very appealing to boys, and it's a good price for this product. 32 oz is a little big for a 9 yr old or a 3 yr old (those are the kids I know who use it) so the 16 oz, narrow neck (stops the bottle from emptying out immediately if dropped), handle-in-capkeeper design is all very well thought out. I have this bottle in 32 oz as well for myself and I've never had to worry about the capkeepig strap breaking off as I use it to carry the bottle.
It's BPA-free so you can take it for say outdoor sports and not worry about the sun leeching toxins into the water. The material is remarkably insulating so you don't get hot water as fast as you do in a normal plastic bottle. The bottle itself is virtually indestructible for casual use. Those walls are thick.
I've used camelbacks, siggs, and other brands, but returned to the Nalgene as the most convenient.

Great for the gym Aug 26, 2009
By J. Bennett My wife brings this with her to the gym. The bottle and top both seem sturdy. She's had it a few months now and is still happy with it.

Sturdy Water Bottle - Neat Color Oct 26, 2009
By K. Ross I bought three of these water bottles - two gray and one pink. The pink one is a very neat color. We became concerned about re-using our store bought water bottles after washing them in the dishwasher. We have been using these bottles for about the past six months, and they work great. You can easily wash them by hand, or run them through the dishwasher - either way. They hold a good amount (16 ounces), not too much, but enough for the work day. They don't leak, and still look pretty much like new. The plastic "handle" hasn't cracked or broken on any of them yet. You can't go wrong with these water bottles.

Very nice Apr 17, 2010
By Amelia B. Porter I have used a variety of water bottles including brands such as sigg and camelbak. Nalgene is my favorite for the fact that it is affordable, durable, a simple design, and doesn't leak!!! For the most part it retains no odor. I suggest using a denture tablet or two overnight to get rid of the smell. Works very well.
Nalgene rocks my socks! Jun 20, 2011
By SmashAsh I bought my first Nalgene bottle 8 years ago, and it's still going strong. It has been thrown around and moved across the country and been exposed to harsh climates, and is still in perfectly great shape. We wanted to have a few more spares, so I ordered these. I like the narrow mouth--my old ones are the wide-mouth bottles, and while I love them, I usually tend to pour water all over myself while drinking from them. These are perfect. My husband pointed out that it's hard to put ice in there, but we don't usually do that anyway. Anyway, it's an awesome product.
